Audit log
Review every change to CRM records and restore deleted ones.
NextCRM records changes to accounts, contacts, leads, opportunities and contracts. Each entry stores the entity, the action, a before/after diff of changed fields, the user and the time. Users see the history of a single record on its History tab. Admins see everything under Administration → Audit Log (/admin/audit-log).
Filters
- Entity: Account, Contact, Lead, Opportunity, Contract, or all.
- Action: Created, Updated, Deleted, Restored, Relation added, Relation removed, or all.
- Date range: from and to.
The table is paginated. With "All entities" selected you also see entries written by other parts of the system, for example plugin installs and setting changes.
Deleted records and restore
CRM records are soft-deleted: deleting sets a deletedAt timestamp and hides the record from normal views, but the row stays in the database. Entries with the action Deleted have a restore button in the admin audit log. Restoring brings the record back and writes a Restored entry.
Retention
Nothing in NextCRM deletes audit entries. The table (crm_AuditLog) grows with use and is included in a normal database backup.
